p-tech-rover

A model of the ExoMars Rover that is able to maneuver around and avoid collisions. We will use the Lego Mindstorms Kit and an Arduino with a wifi shield for our purposes. Additional functionality includes control of the robot via text message or email (using the Twilio and SendGrid APIs).

This project is solving the ExoMars Rover is My Robot challenge.

Description

This project is aimed at fellow students around the world who have demonstrated interest in the Mars Rover (Curiosity) and would like to see a demonstration of a model similar to that. Our robot will provide the user with an interactive experience through the use of innovative modern day technologies.
