Faamo estimates the potential of farm production at 138 places all over the world based on the following four types of Earth-monitoring satellite data from the JASMES database and the GCOM-W1 satellite data, both of which are provided by JAXA:

• ・Photosynthetically Available Radiation (JASMES)
• ・Land Surface Temperature (JASMES)
• ・Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (JASMES)
• ・Soil Water Content (GCOM-W1)

Faamo also displays the following food market indices in each place on the map:

• ・Population trend
• ・Price levels of several crops typical of the place

By bridging these data, Faamo suggests the optimal utilization of agricultural farms on a global scale as illustrated in the following procedure:

1. 1) Go to Faamo application and click a place on the world map as you please.
2. 2) The map suggests other places all over the world that are suitable for production of the similar crops as those in the original place you have chosen.
3. 3) You can also check food market data in all the places suggested are on the map by clicking the place suggested.
