We are aware of the importance of gathering renewable energy data in one map, one web application and one place, therefore since this feature was not implemented before in any website, we decided to take the challenge and combine, solar energy, wind energy and geothermal energy into one single user friendly map.

This project is solving the Renewable Energy Explorer challenge.

    Description

Appart from GitHub, you can access our project from the following url to see a demonstration: http://energy.isubscribe.maWe are aware of the importance of gathering renewable energy data in one map, one web application and one place, therefore since this feature was not implemented before in any website, we decided to take the challenge and combine, solar energy, wind energy and geothermal energy into one single user friendly map.

Solar Energy : We have in our database an average of 20 years of Nasa solar energy data, we use it to generate overlays that are shown in a very user friendly way the distribution of the solar energy data all arround the world..

Wind Energy : We have in our database an average of 10 years of Nasa Wind energy data, that we also use to generate overlays for every point arround the globe to show the different wind energy potential distribution.

Geothermal energy : For Geothermal data, we gathered it from many sources that were all regrouped by the Switzerland Institude of technology, so we also generated from it different overlays for USA , CANADA , AND USA Precisely, and another one for all the world.

    • Inteligent automatic transfer switch - iATS

This kind of technical decision produce one engineering system to realise intelligent automatic transfer switch (called iATS). The newest thing in the project is the proporcional energy consumption from two different sources. One of them is the renewable sources(like: wind, solar or different ren... Visit Project

    • Improving the efficiency of an internal combustion engine with an Electrolytic Cell

The aim of the project is to raise the efficiency of a internal combustion engine, while also reducing the emissions produced . Modern petrol engines have a maximum thermal efficiency of about 25% - 30%. In other words, 70-75% is rejected as heat without being turned into useful work,e.g turning ... Visit Project
