The infrastructure created is able to server not only pictures that are mined through the ISERV FTP Server, but any image that has Mercator coordinates tagged as well.
The web service supports searches in order to get specific content, but consumers of the data can get a complete dump of the structure.
The web site that hosts the service includes a help section.
Everybody - most notably teams competing in the Space Apps Challenge 2014 - are encouraged to build upon the well structured data provided by this service for any purpose.
If you would like to see how you can add content to the existing database, do not hesitate to contact us.
Source code is hosted on BitBucket using Git. The code includes both the Data Mining tool and the website/web service.
Additionally, there is also a, SQL script (including the data) that you can use to rebuild your own instance of this infrastructure.
