wesac

weSac - seeing asteroids coming is an open source client-server framework that let user track asteroids information on their mobile devices. It currently supports iOS clients. With weSac, user can find asteroids their phone with augmented reality visualization, and receive alerts when asteroids are approaching earth.

This project is solving the Visualize the Asteroid Skies challenge.

Description

weSac is an open source client-server asteroid monitoring framework. It now supports three features. (1) Check information of asteroids tracked by the system. (2) Augmented reality visualization of the asteroid sky - the mobile application will guide users to find asteroids in the sky and visualize their motion. (3) Keep track of asteroids distance to earth, alert users when some asteroids are approaching within the dangerous distance.
