This project is solving the Cool it! challenge.

Description

The project is a game to get people to collect temperature and humidity data using their mobile phone via bluetooth and to send it to the cloud and make it available to all.

The game has 2 teams: the engagers (blue) vs. the resilients (green). When joining the game, players have to choose one of the team.

The target of each team is to control the maximum number of sensor checkpoints to cover the biggest area of control.

To control a sensor checkpoints, teams must check-in and retrieve recent temperature and humidity from it. The fresher the data, the more control and points the team gets.

In this project, we provide open designs for anyone to build a sensor point, powered by solar panels. Teams can add their own sensor checkpoints to the game, but these checkpoints can also be lost if the team don’t retrieve regularly data from it.

Note: the game is inspired from Ingress. (https://www.ingress.com/)
