AQUILA is ideal preparation for long lasting life on other planets with natural energy sources and oceanic water or water ice. We work mainly with Jupiter Gallilean moons (Io, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto). Our purpose is to cultivate the hard water from Io (distillation) and deliver the clean water to the other three moons. The hardware is in potential factory on Io – sending data and receive commands from data center (which can be placed anywhere with computer equipment).

The heart of the hardware is PIC18F452 microcontroller. It communicates with Intel/AMD based computer via RS232 interface. The computer communicates with LAMP server through HTTP. Web interface represented current state of water level and let sending commands back to PIC.
