We are making an Exomars rover for universities and schools. RAVEN - Robotic Advanced Visualization Embedded Network

This project is solving the ExoMars Rover is My Robot challenge.

Description

Exploring the surface of a planet capable of sustaining life, few things can be more exciting. The construction is based on an Arduino microcontroller, using sonar and infrared sensors for the object avoidance algorithms. When something needs to be bypassed, the rover photographs it and adds the image to the dynamically generated map on the Raspberry Pi. All used components are good for educational purposes, because we provide an easy to use API for both hobbiests and proffesionals. Our project is fully open source with a thriving community. It is also affordably cheap providing an opportunity for students to realize their ideas in robotics and programming.
