mycupola

This is a game that use NASA images, which consists on guess where the showed image belongs.

This project is solving the Earth As Art challenge.

Description

The app name comes from the “Cupola” module on the ISS, a place where astronauts see and take pictures from the Earth.

This app is a game that starts from the user location on a grided worldmap. Each player will try to travel over the adjacent grids, hitting the right area (North, South, East, West) that belongs a NASA image that will open on his screen.

If you want to play, you must log in, and then, you can vote for your favourite images (LIKE) or add to your album. The user could see the images that liked to the app users, and his albums can be shared through internet or social media with other people.

If the user hits the right answer, he “has traveled” to this grid. The main objective of the game is “to travel as far as you can” on the world map.
