Using webview component within an android app and leaflet as visualization platform, you can compare by yourself the satellite images from last 2 years (nov/dec 2012 nov/dec 2013 and jan2013/2014). Spent a lot of time without trying to figure it out how to use other sources as modis which needs to be preprocessed. In leaflet couldn't make it with a for statement to have an array and make the menu more dynamic. Anyway, hope it helps
