Magellan is the mobile service for actualization of global events, tied to a certain location on the planet, with the function of social communication. Users can find or create locations. For each location downloaded pictures from the satellite + pictures from social networks (by hashtag). Users can follow the development and change of the situation in time, to participate in the discussion.This project is solving the Animate Your World challenge. Description
Magellan is the mobile service for actualization of global events, tied to a certain location on the planet, with the function of social communication. Users can find or create locations. For each location downloaded pictures from the satellite + pictures from social networks (by hashtag). Users can follow the development and change of the situation in time (volcanic eruption, pollution of lakes, 'Earth Hour', in football, Olympic games, construction of large objects and cities), to participate in the discussion.
