We create a method to compile visible and non visible channels from light spectrum to find how earth changed the past two years. We classify small areas to indicate what areas are urban, forest, soil, water or roads and we show them in a map with simple colours to be easier to identify the changes in Earth. We took an area of interest in Cyprus and in Greece to show the application of our method.

This project is solving the A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words challenge.

Description

The aim of the project is to extract valuable information form satellites using image processing techniques.
