fold-your-own-universe

Structures formed in the Universe from origami-like folds. The pattern governing where these structures formed was random. The app demonstrates this process, by rendering "origami paper" stretched across a mesh, which folds according to gravity. The initial conditions governing this can even be generated from a device's camera!

Description

Initially, the project will entail a simple slider which controls the amount of structure that forms from a fixed initial field. It will ideally display translucent "origami paper" stretched across a mesh, enabling the user to go back and forth from folded to unfolded states.
