cli-facts

A web application that shows how much carbon dioxide pollution each country produces and then possible measures they can take to reduce contamination and their power usage. The application also allows users to perform comparative analysis with other countries. This robust application puts flexibility at the forefront, allowing users to change multiple parameters at all times and thus it helps to raise awareness in multiple areas.

This project is solving the Community Visions of Climate Adaptation challenge.

Description

After selecting the country on page one, the user can see the CO2 emissions for it on a graph, along with a comparison of the region average, and the world average. The user can also alter statistics by changing various parameters on a dynamic, clean and intuitive user interface. Since a great deal of pollution is made by power-plants, the app shows the user the average energy consumption per capita for their country. The user can then see steps they can take to reduce negative factors affecting the CO2 emissions in their country. Please see the video link and demo link as well.
