This project collects data from a couple of resources such as MODIS, OMI etc., to model and visualize the air quality levels of different regions. The visualization will be in the form of a desktop application wherein the collected data will be used to provide an Air Quality Index (AQI) to inform the users of the air quality at the location of interest.This project is solving the AirNow International Transport App (ANITA) challenge. Airospace aims to inform the user of the air quality at the desired location. It uses data from MODIS, OMI etc., and shows a visualization of the data for interpretation. Air Quality Index (AQI) will be used to specify the air quality at different regions, depending on the pollution. Further improvements will be made to show the source of the pollution and the trajectory to the desired location, using HYSPLIT data.
